Golf On MauiThe unique nature of Maui's terrain gives rise to some of the most splendid and challenging golf courses in the world. The views from Kaanapali to Wailea can be breathtaking and the experience, once in a lifetime! Each course has its own policy for accepting reservations and fees vary widely. Be sure to call ahead if you are going to play golf on one of Maui's premiere courses, as they do fill fast.
Kaanapali There are two main courses in the Kaanapali resort area.  Royal Kaanapali (the North course) is a world class golf experience. Click here for a 3-D tour of the course. Each year the Mercedes Championship is held on Maui and brings in names like Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh, Phil Mickelson and Steve Stricker. Kaanapali Kai (South) Course was originally created as an executive course and was later redesigned by architect Arthur Jack Snyder in 1976. At 6,400 yards, the Par 70 course is a more forgiving golf course with subtle, undulating greens that accomodates all levels of play. |

Wailea CoursesThere are three golf course on the sunny south side of Maui in Wailea. They are Wailea Blue, Wailea Gold and Wailea Emerald.
