Snorkel Molokini!

This is a unique Maui activity. Molokine erupted about 230,000 years ago, but today it is a snorkelers paradise. After thousands of years of eriosion the crater has been claimed most of this amazing volcano, but one side rises gently up and today serves as a bird sanctuary.

Boat tours leave daily for the fish preserve where any snorkeler will be amazed at the abundance of fish and natural beauty of the reef. The waters are usually very calm and if you come during the winter month, you may even hear whales singing as you enjoy the parade of aquatic life!
